DURATION:
Full Day
EXPERIENCE:

Adventure, Nature, Wildlife

After the Amazon, the Paraná Delta is the most important delta in South America. Green and rich in rivers and streams, this gorgeous natural reserve is located barely 30 km from the city of Buenos Aires. This tour first sails on the Río de la Plata to reach the suburb of San Isidro and visit its magnificent 1897 Neo-Gothic cathedral. The trip continues to Tigre’s river station, to sail the rivers and canals between the thousand little islands covered in ceibo trees, Argentina’s national tree. Lunch is served at a traditional Tigre restaurant on an island of the delta. The tour finishes at the Mate Museum, a great place to learn about the history and the culture of this beloved Argentine infusion. After visiting this museum everyone wants to share a round of mate.
