Meet the Jasy Porá Community
Meet the aboriginal village of Jasy Porá of the Mbyá Guarani ethnical group, and enjoy a closer encounter with the Guarani culture.
A real dive into the Guarani world dimension, to learn about the history, way of living and survival methods, handicrafts, religious traditions and much more from one of South Americas most ancient cultures. From the beginning of the trail that separates the community from the main road, approximately 500 meters, you will see the miniature hunting traps installed in the jungle used by the guaranies to hunt animals.
Meet the Children Choir, that will sing songs pertaining to their religious tradition, to show how the culture is passed to the new generations. Then visit will end at the Village's courtyard where locally made handicraft is exhibited and sold to visitors which is part of their income.
A specialized in aboriginal culture guide will be present during the whole activity, provinding information before, during and after the visit to enrich the experience, and also a member of the community will be an inside guide from the arrival to Jasy Porá until departure to express the true feel of the Guaraníes.
