Early in the morning, the tour begins at Chacras de Coria, in the Luján de Cuyo district, 30 minutes from downtown Mendoza. After a short introductory talk about the area and some basic safety rules, the bike tour begins on the district’s streets. The first selected winery offers to visit the premises, learn about the process of winemaking and taste some wines. The tour continues to a second winery with a different architecture and production style. At noon, it is time for lunch at a new winery or a local restaurant with delicious local wines. Finally, there is time for a last stop at the most traditional winery. The bicycles are turned in and it is time to return to the city. On the way back, there is one last stop for those with a sweet tooth at a local farm specialized in liquors, marmalade, dulce de leche (caramel) and homemade chocolates.
