The highest point in the journey is Piedra del Molino, 3,384 meters above sea level. Then, it crosses Los Cardones National Park through the Recta de Tin-Tin, part of the old Inca Road. At noon, the tour arrives at Cachi and, after lunch, it follows route 40 by the Calchaquí river and more historic towns: Seclantás, Molinos and Angastaco. At Quebrada de las Flechas the wind and time have shaped curious formations. Passing by San Carlos and Animará, the road leads to Cafayate, to finish the day and spend the night. Day 2: From Cafayate, the tour visits boutique and industrial wineries with time for tasting international award winning wines. After lunch, it is time to return to the city of Salta through Quebrada de las Conchas and the Lerma valley.
