After lunch, some optional activities are offered such as rafting, hiking or taking a boat tour. The tour then continues to the Atuel Canyon, a geological fault with imposing shapes and amazing colors. These natural wonders present figures such as Wax Museum, Rivadavia’s Seat, the Lizard, The Monsters, The Enchanted City, The Beggar and The Hanging Gardens, just to name a few. The hydroelectric plants on the Atuel river can be seen on the way to the Nihuil dam, a classic spot for sports and fishing. Back to the North of the province, the tour goes by the Galileo Vitale dam and the 25 de Mayo village (founding place of San Rafael) to return to the city of Mendoza.
