Argentina Suspends Reciprocity Fee for US Tourists

In order to strengthen bilateral relations with the United States of America, the Argentine government has resolved to suspend -from March, 24th of 2016- the collection of the reciprocity fee for a period of 90 days from US passport holders, who visit our country for tourist or business purposes.

“The reciprocity fee created by Presidential Decree 1654/2008 and regulated by the Disposition DNM 2761/2009, will be suspended for a 90-day period, or until an Executive Order be issued (as promoted by this National Directorate), for the derogation of this fee, as regards the US citizens entering Argentine territory” said the Argentine embassy in the United States of America.
