San Juan
Framed in the landscape of the foothills, the city of San Juan has a great cultural imprint, especially highlighting the Birth House of the Argentine hero Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, declared the first national historical museum 100 years ago.
Another unmissable site in the province is the Ischigualasto National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Known as the \"Valley of the Moon\" for its lunar-like soil and the presence of geoforms, it is a Triassic park where nature has been working for more than 220 million years.
